Scott has led many behavioral detection initiatives in security since 2003. He held engineering/research and management roles for Symantec, Microsoft and McAfee, shipped flagship products of Norton, Windows Defender and McAfee Total Protection, each with over 500 million users. His research team in McAfee spearheaded predictive threat intelligence system, enabling Intel Security’s foothold in APT hunting space. Scott owns multiple patents of behavioral and predictive detection technology.
Song spent most of his 15 years career working on large software / internet systems, ranging from compilers, virtual machines to global-scale web services. Song worked for intel, Expedia and eBay, his knowledge covers CPU architecture, communication protocols, web applications and how to protect them at different levels. Song is an invited expert of W3C for their connected cars initiative.
Dr. Zhang received his Ph.D. from Tsinghua University. He has 20 years experience with mobile, tablet, and embedded software development. Dr. Zhang led the development of a major US based trucking company's high-end In-Vehicle Displays, was a staff research member at the IBM China Research Lab, a senior software architect with BSQUARE, and a lead system engineer at HP/Palm. He is an expert in Linux/WinMobile kernel, various device drivers, and embedded firmware. He was an expert committee member of SD Assoc. Host TG, and a core member in the WebOS wireless charging development team.
Manny has over 30 years of tech expertise, and is the CEO of AppViewX, Inc. Prior to this, he has held key leadership roles as CEO at F5 Networks and SVP at Cisco Systems. He has successfully applied technology at a practical level to drive profitable growth, innovation, productivity and operational excellence. In the past, he has been responsible for launching and driving new market adjacencies, strategy, product management, marketing, and business and corporate development.
Vincent's 30-year career in the IT industry encompasses roles spanning software development, systems engineering, development management and security research. He has presented at numerous international security conferences and is the co-author of a book on Internet security published by Symantec Press when he was VP of Symantec Security Response. He is currently SVP of McAfee at Intel Corporation. In his role leading the labs organization, he oversees a team of hundreds of researchers in dozens of countries, as well as millions of sensors around the globe, all dedicated to helping protect Intel customers from the latest cyber-threats.
Dr. Liu has 15+ years of research career at Palo Alto Research Center (formerly Xerox PARC) and Microsoft Research. He is a Principal Researcher and Senior Director of the Venture on Embedded Sensing Technologies and Applications at Microsoft Research-NExT. He is a world-renowned experts on wireless sensing, energy-efficient systems, and mobile computing. He has published more than 120 papers and chaired top academic conferences in those fields. He has filed more than 100 patents (35 granted).
Dr. Liu received his Ph.D. degree from EECS, UC Berkeley. He holds an adjunct professorship at Harbin Institute of Technology, China. He is an ACM Distinguished Scientist and an IEEE Senior Member.
